Are You Failing At What Matters

I hate uncertainties. It drives me crazy. It keeps me up at night. It makes me sick. And so I do this instead.

Recognize constraints in my life

I learn to recognize the constraints in my life and I find a way to work around it. And I must say I did a pretty good job at it. Within the constraints of how some things work, I’ve learned to start a practice and built it into a profitable six-figure business.

Despite having all that, I am still not happy. It baffles me because I thought if only I have this or I have that, then I would be happy.

A different perspective about goal

It is not about the goal. Its about growing to become the person that can accomplish that goal. ~Tony Robbins

Then one day, I heard this quote from Tony Robbins in one of his programs, The Power to Shape Your Destiny. And I began to realize that it is not what you have, but who you become that really matters.

You see, when I first started out setting goals, it was almost always about how much I want to earn, what I want in my life, or some variations of that.

Which led me to think it is all about possessions or how much I earn. But it is really about who we become as a result of achieving that goal.

What really matters to you?

No one likes to fail but everyone who has succeeded has failed at some point. So it is better to fail early so you can become successful quickly. And here’s three practical steps to embrace failure.

So here’s the question:

What really matters to you? Are you failing at what really mattered or are you succeeding at what doesn’t?
